Stabfish.io Wiki
Stabfish.io Wiki

Below is a set of rules to follow when making contributions to the wiki.

Core Rules

  1. Abide by FANDOM guidelines: Make sure to follow fandom's Terms of Use. Violation of any of these terms, including interacting with Stabfish.io Wiki while underage, will result in a block.
    1. Do not make contributions or use discussions if you are under thirteen years of age.
    2. Do not share your age or other personal information, and do not solicit or share the personal information of others, within reason.
  2. Keep it civil: Do not make personal attacks on other people. If you need to criticize another user's argument, do so without attacking them as a person. Do not use bigoted language, including slurs which degrade another person or group of people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc. Additionally, all content on this wiki should be appropriate for people thirteen years and younger.
  3. Be a productive member of the wiki: Contribute to the wiki in line with the established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an administrator! Disrupting the wiki with "edit warring" over differing opinions of a topic with another user or group of users is not productive.
  4. Do not engage in excessive self-promotion: The wiki is a collaborative community resource for the topic at hand. It is NOT a free place to advertise your related website, YouTube channel, blog, social media account, etc. Have a question about whether your link would be welcome? Ask an administrator!
  5. Do not harass other users: If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their wall, respect their wishes. It is their wall.
  6. Follow community guidelines for formatting: Only make contributions if they follow Stabfish.io Wiki's Manual of Style.
  7. Do not put false information on this wiki: Do not give suggestions on a new page because we are not the creators. Feel free to do so in [1]. Also do not put fanon content which is not related to the game on Discussions and articles.

User Profile Rules

  1. Your username or profile picture may not contain not safe for work content (i.e. swearing, gore), or hate.
  2. Do not add media to your profile that you do not have the rights to use. It is considered art theft and copyright violation otherwise. If you lose the rights to use the media on your profile, remove it immediately.
  3. Keep broken (red) links off of your profile. If you can add an interwiki link to resolve the issue, please do so!
  4. Exclude not-safe-for-work (NSFW) and distasteful content from your profile.

Interaction Rules

  1. Be kind and respectful to others. Stabfish.io Wiki is not a place to harass or degrade other users.
  2. Do not minimod—warn other users that they are violating guidelines—if you do not have the user rights to do so. If possible, report or undo a violator's action to make sure that Stabfish.io Wiki's moderators can effectively resolve the issue.
  3. Do not stir drama between users, intentionally or unintentionally.
  4. Do not evade your block by sockpuppeting. This will result in moderators and administrators reporting you to FANDOM for a permanent global block.
  5. Do not share or solicit passwords, exploits, or hacks regarding Stabfish games. Doing so damages the user experience of others who may want to learn how to play on their own.
  6. Do not necropost—post a reply on a thread that has not held activity for the past two weeks—on any comment, message wall, or discussion thread.

Warning and Blocking

Stabfish.io Wiki's moderators and administrators reserve the right to warn and block other users for violating guidelines explicitly stated in FANDOM's Terms of Service or the rules presented on the wiki.

Warnings

When a user commits a minor offense, a moderator or administrator will post to the offender's message wall a new thread titled "Warning", and they will elaborate on the offense(s) the offender made. If a user receives three or more unique warnings within a span of two weeks, they will receive a temporary or permanent block.

That said, warnings expire two weeks after a staff member posts them unless the person who warns the offender states otherwise. Do not delete active warning posts to anyone's message wall; deleting them will result in an additional warning as well as the reinstatement of the deleted warning(s).

Blocks

Blocks prevent users from interacting with the wiki in any form, such as editing, commenting, etc. In most cases, blocked users are still able to edit their user page and message wall; however, this access may be revoked.

Blocks may be temporary or indefinite. If SOAP blocks someone, their email address may also be blocked. If someone is blocked across the FANDOM network (which is out of our control), the user, their alternate accounts, their email, and their IP address will all be blocked.
